The Death of Contentment is COMPARISON

... I’m convinced that this is part of the Enemy’s plan with social media.

Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, Pinterest...  All these means by which you compare your life to the lives of others and get thrown off in your quest to find your purpose.  Since rededicating my life to Christ, I have come to the understanding that I have been bound by comparison and competition for years!  It has held me back from being able to do things I am very much skilled at, literally like a straitjacket.  But in discovering the purpose for MY life -- the thing God was hoping for when He made me -- I am coming to a place of such FREEDOM.

I no longer care about being able to compete with anyone with the talents and gifts God has given me or live up to a standard set by other people.  I now live solely for the approval of God who does not judge us by what we do or what we have, but by our faithfulness with the things He has given us.  I am so excited to become closer to Him and allow Him to guide me through these next few years in a way I’ve never allowed Him to do in the past.  Follow along as I share my journey.  I hope it is a blessing to you.

xoxo, Miss Bee
